Contact
There is no e-mail address on this page and no telephone number. What you write comes in through the form below, and the address it lands at is known only to the server. That way nobody has to give an address away — not you and not me.
What is most use to me
Mistakes. If a calculation is wrong, or an instrument disagrees with your own Bible, say so. Name the place where it goes wrong: the date, the year, or the verse. Then I can check it, and that is usually an hour’s work.
Sources I have missed. An edition, a dataset, a table that is better than the one I use.
Questions about the method. Why an instrument does what it does, or why it will not show you something.
What I usually cannot get to, and this is not unwillingness: giving a personal verdict in a doctrinal dispute, or reading through a manuscript of your own. The instruments are here precisely so that you can look into a question like that yourself.

Keeping up
There is no newsletter. There are two ways to follow what gets added, and neither asks you to sign up for anything.
The feed. Every language has one: a file that keeps track of the articles as they appear. Put this link into a feed reader — Feedly, NetNewsWire, Thunderbird, whatever you already use — and new articles arrive there by themselves. Nothing is asked of you and nothing is recorded: your reader fetches the file, and that is all. For the instruments it is not needed; those change without announcement, and the calendar recomputes every day.
The channel on Telegram. Short notices there when something new is up, and a place where you can reply in public. In public on purpose: then an answer stands there at once for everyone who had the same question.

Why it is arranged this way
An address printed on a page is found by machines within a week and used for ever after. A form is not, and the invisible trap inside it catches most of what still comes. There is no CAPTCHA: those make the work hard for you and barely harder for the machine.
And as everywhere on this site: no other company’s button stands on this page. The pointer to Telegram is an ordinary link, which does nothing until you click it.
