Cultivation, by genus
This menu gives practical guidance per genus for growing at home: substrate, water, light and temperature. Not how the plant grows in the wild, but what to do with it on a windowsill, in a greenhouse or in a terrarium. The guidance follows the established cultivation literature — chiefly Adrian Slack and Peter D'Amato's The Savage Garden — and the habitat ecology documented per species elsewhere in this guide. It remains a short overview per genus, not an exhaustive manual; individual species and cultivars may differ.
